A Morning Resolve
I will try this day to live a simple, sincere, and serene life, repelling promptly every thought of discontent, anxiety, discouragement, impurity, and self-seeking; cultivating cheerfulness, magnanimity, charity, and the habit of holy silence; exercising economy in expenditure, generosity in giving, carefulness in conversation, diligence in appointed service, fidelity to every trust, and a childlike faith in God.
In particular I will try to be faithful in those habits of prayer, work, study, physical exercise, eating, and sleep which I believe the Holy Spirit has shown me to be right.
And as I can not in my own strength do this, nor even with a hope of success attempt it, I look to thee, O Lord God my Father, in Jesus my Savior, and ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Patience
Dear Lord, please give me the patience to make it through this busy day with all the hustle, demands and distractions of modern life. Let me find the quiet time to hear your voice and feel your calming presence. I ask this in your son's name. Amen

Good morning Lord! What are you up to today? Can I be apart of it? Thank you, Amen.

Said at the beginning of each day:
Jesus, your are the light of the world. Please fill our minds with your love, wisdom, and awareness of your presence. Fill our hearts with your love, Fill our bodies with your healing, Fill our souls with your mercy and faith and trust in you. In the name of Jesus I ask this and thank you. Amen
